Reinvention Update & Holiday Launch

At Investor Day in 2022, Starbucks founder Howard Schultz introduced Laxman Narasimhan as the new CEO and charged the influential leader with stewarding the company and brand into its next era of global evolution. The following year, they hosted a Reinvention Update & Holiday Launch event to introduce the investment community to the “Triple Shot Reinvention” – a bold new version of the company’s strategic approach and financial outlook.  

The event kicked off with an earnings call and ended with an immersive cocktail reception featuring branded seasonal favorites such as Cranberry Bliss bars and snowman cookies, plus two state-of-the-art Clover Vertica coffee brewers. Elements included a series of exciting updates from enterprise leaders, an exploration of the 2023 holiday launch, and an overview of innovations coming to the coffee industry.

Decades of collaboration with Starbucks have given Touch a unique perspective on producing its experiences, and our work is consistently rooted in the company's strategy. We worked alongside the investor relations and brand story teams to bring a thoughtful point of view to everything from the agenda, segment length, and content creation to speaker coaching and immersive brand experiences.

Touch managed all aspects of event design and production – from creating video stories and designing presentations, to refining executive content and rehearsing, to producing the event itself – helping Starbucks deliver a compelling, connected event experience that would instill confidence in the company’s strategic direction.
