Project Highlight: Starbucks Investor Day 2022
In September of 2022, Starbucks gathered investors, analysts, and the media at their Seattle headquarters to discuss everything from technical innovations and accelerated long-term growth plans, to leadership changes and how they plan to improve partner and customer experiences. In the context of overwhelming social and political pressure surrounding labor and unionization, and as their first in-person Investor Day since the pandemic, the stakes were high. But the agenda didn’t shy away from addressing the many hot-button topics that were top of mind for attendees. Between the level of transparency, quality of content, and overall production value, the street was left feeling excited about the company’s trajectory.
Touch was engaged to support the event from beginning to end. Our involvement spanned disciplines, moving from strategic pre-planning collaboration and curation of programmatic format, content, agenda, and attendee communications, to emphasizing company values and brand identity through thoughtful presentation design, data analytics and information design techniques. Our team managed video production, collaborating with Starbucks to leverage customer and partner narratives and user generated content to showcase brand love. We managed load-in and strike, vendors and crew, tables-reads and rehearsals, technical documentation and the flawless onsite production of Investor Day.
