College Achievement Plan

Because opportunity should be within reach.

The Starbucks College Achievement Plan (SCAP)—a first-of-its-kind partnership with Arizona State University—gives eligible U.S. Starbucks employees (“partners”) the opportunity to earn a bachelor’s degree online, with full tuition coverage.

Starbucks partnered with Touch to launch SCAP in 2014 with an event at The Times Center in New York City.

Since then, we’ve supported the program through ongoing recruiting and marketing efforts, including the creation of a video storytelling series that highlights SCAP graduates as the living proof of the program’s impact.

The series continues to evolve and is used by Starbucks’ internal marketing team to elevate partner stories and bring the program’s outcomes to life. As of 2025, more than 18,000 have graduated, and over 26,000 are currently enrolled.
