STEWARDSHIP PARTNERS
Creating Cleaner Waterways
Collective action for healthier land and water within the Puget Sound region.
Stewardship Partners is a nonprofit dedicated to creating people-driven solutions that preserve and restore land and water health across the Salish Sea. They do this through a variety of programs and events that invite and encourage broad community engagement across the regions.
Adopt-a-Downspout Program
For our first engagement, Touch worked with Stewardship Partners to develop communications tools to educate audiences about the Adopt-a-Downspout program, which helps keep waterways cleaner for salmon. Our team created a graphic design system for consistent, impactful materials that Stewardship Partners could use to promote Adopt-a-Downspout and secure partnerships to expand its impact.
The design system included a program logo that aligned with the simple typography used for its other programs. We also designed an infographic and program overview PowerPoint template for use in more structured conversations with partners, funders, and adoptees. To extend the visual identity and reach of the program, the Touch team also redesigned a series of guides to help more people design, operate, and maintain downspouts. The result was a streamlined visual identity and rich visuals that reinforced the challenge and opportunities based on various audiences.
Green Infrastructure Summit of the Salish Sea
The work didn’t stop there. Stewardship Partners’ dedication to building and engaging the community in environmental solutions comes together on full display in its annual one-day conference, Green Infrastructure Summit of the Salish Sea. This event connects audiences from across the education, government, and private sectors, as well as other environmental enthusiasts.

Stewardship Partners also leaned on Touch to support more than 50 speakers across plenary, breakout, and poster sessions. In partnership with the host committee, we shaped the program and guided presenters with clear timelines, templates, and best practices to elevate content and engagement.
Strong turnout. Strong engagement.
The 11th annual Green Infrastructure Summit of the Salish Sea sold out, with 90% of attendees rating their experience as good to excellent and praising the balance of networking and content. Despite unexpected winter weather in Bothell, energy stayed high, with strong connections and a shared sense of purpose throughout.
